PMGY70 Pipelayer is installed with a specially designed chassis with full-hydraulic transmission, and mainly used for various pipe laying operations.

Technical Features

  1. Safe and reliable braking system: different from the normally-open pad-locking system used by flat-chassis, the driving system of PMGY70 pipelayer is installed with a wet, friction-pad, spring-loaded, hydraulically-separated normally-closed braking system, which opens automatically under working conditions, and closes under non-working conditions, hence to ensure the safety of the vehicle during moving and stopping It is specially outstanding to avoid sliding when the it operates on ramped environment.
  2. Fully-equipped safety gears: the location snubber of both electrically and-controlled enables to avoid the boom to reach at the up-moving limit position, and protect it from possible bending damages of the crane boom. The over-rolling protector of the hook helps to avoid it reaching at the up-moving limit position, and protect it from possible damages caused by over-stretching of the slings. The emergency off-loading device may ensure the safe operations of the operator once over-loading and equipment tilting occurs. The torque limiter helps to ensure the equipment to operate always within the rated loading capacity, hence to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
  3. It is equipped with a  QSL9-C325 engine, a fuel injection turbo-charged and inter-cooled diesel engine, and proves to operate with high reliability and long operational life.
  4. In comparison with pipelayer chassis remodeled from a regular Bulldozer chassis, it is installed with a full-hydraulically driven chassis. The vehicle frame and mechanical frame is designed to fully satisfy the strength requirement of equipment, which is recognized to have large rail space, long grounding length and adequate gravity center to ensure the operational stability of the pipelayer.
  5. Advanced transmission and control system: it uses advanced hydraulic transmission engineering, which proves to have simplified structure and easy for maintenance. It allows continuous transmission of both driving and lifting speed. The control system is designed with a micro-processor for electric-control of the engine, and the rotation speed of the engine is automatically controlled, which minimizes both labor and oil consumptions.
